These terms are an agreement between you and TechMasti (“we”, “us”) for your use of the TalkZeno mobile app and related website (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use TalkZeno.
1. Who can use TalkZeno
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law of your country to agree to these terms. If you are under 18, use TalkZeno only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
- You must give accurate information when you register and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
- One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.
2. What the service is
TalkZeno lets you practise spoken English by chatting or talking with an AI partner and by having live voice conversations with other learners. It also offers feedback, daily goals and streaks.
- TalkZeno is a practice tool. It is not a school, examination body or a substitute for a qualified teacher, and it does not issue certificates.
- The AI partner and its feedback are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
- We may change, add or remove features, and we do not promise the service will always be available or error-free.
3. Community rules and talking with other learners
Other learners are real people, so please be respectful. When you use TalkZeno you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk or discriminate against anyone, or use hateful, abusive or sexually explicit language;
- share illegal, violent, obscene or otherwise harmful content, or content that exploits or endangers minors;
- pretend to be someone else, or share other people’s personal information;
- ask other learners for money, contact details or personal information, or use TalkZeno to advertise, spam or recruit;
- record other learners’ calls, or share what they say without their permission;
- use bots, scripts or other automated means, reverse-engineer the app, probe or disrupt our systems, or bypass limits, credits, ad-reward limits or plan restrictions;
- break any law, or help anyone else do so.
Calls between learners go directly between their phones and are not recorded by us, and we do not listen to them. We cannot supervise conversations in real time, so use the Report and Block options in the app if someone behaves badly. We review reports and may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you type and say. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it (for example to generate AI replies and feedback, store your conversation history, and handle reports) only as needed to run and protect the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you say and type.
5. Credits
- Some features (for example AI conversations and AI Help) use credits. You receive free credits each day, may earn more by watching rewarded ads (subject to daily limits), and may receive bonus credits with a paid plan.
- Credits are a virtual feature of the app. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and unused credits are not refundable.
- We may change how many credits things cost or how many are given, and we may correct or remove credits obtained by error, fraud or abuse.
6. Plans and subscriptions
- TalkZeno has a free Basic plan and paid Pro and Premium plans with more credits, longer history and other benefits. Current plan details are shown in the app.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions bought through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account, in the currency and with the taxes shown by Google Play at purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel any time in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app or deleting your TalkZeno account does not cancel a subscription. You must cancel it in Google Play.
- When a plan ends, your account returns to the Basic plan.
- We may change prices or plan features. Changes to the price of an active subscription follow Google Play’s rules, including notice to you and, where required, your consent before you are charged the new price.

7. Ads
The free plan may offer rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. You choose whether to watch them. Please do not click ads or watch them in any artificial way to earn credits; that can be treated as abuse.
8. Our rights
The app, its design, the TalkZeno name and logo, and all software and content we provide belong to TechMasti or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create products from it except as the law allows.
9. Suspension and ending your account
- You can stop using TalkZeno and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account in the app, or the web page).
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the law, put others at risk, or misuse the service. Where reasonable we will tell you why. A ban does not entitle you to a refund of credits.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends (such as sections 4, 8, 10 and 11) will continue.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, TalkZeno is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises about accuracy, availability, learning results or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for what other learners say or do, or for content you meet through the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be excluded.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (and is zero if you have paid nothing). This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Effective” date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using TalkZeno after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.
